Product Description

CD11b also known as integrin alpha-M is a protein encoded by the ITGAM gene which is approximately 127,1 kDa. CD11b is localised to the cell membrane and is involved in the MAPK-Erk pathway, apoptotic pathways, ERK signalling and integrin pathway. CD11b is implicated in various adhesive interactions of monocytes, macrophages and granulocytes as well as in mediating the uptake of complement-coated particles. CD11b is predominantly expressed in monocytes and granulocytes. Mutations in the ITGAM gene result in systemic Lupus Erythematosus. STJ97613 was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen. This polyclonal antibody detects endogenous levels of CD11b protein.
